a Boston tradition since 1947
It’s shopping as a full-contact sport and the women who take part in Running of the Brides®wouldn’t have it any other way. Filene’s Basement’s legendary bargain stampede takes place on February 19, 2010 at Boston’s HynesConvention Center. Over 2800 designer and famous label gowns are up for grabs starting at just $249. At full price in a bridal salon the same frocks would cost between $900 and $9000.
Each bride who buys a gown gets her own “I survived the Running of the Brides®” tee shirt. Team members each get a temporary tattoo to commemorate the day.
Doors open at 8:00am, but if the rush to the racks isn’t your idea of fun, come later when the atmosphere is a bit more civilized. There are plenty of great deals to be found right up till closing at 8:00pm.
The Running of the Brides® is a one day sale and all sales are final. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.
